Hi there, I call this my $5,000 wall.  Why? Because in 2013, Frogtape painter's tape ran a contest (for DIYers) called Earn Your Stripes and I won.  I'm not a competitive person, but I couldn't help but get excited when I read about the contest.  I knew I actually had a chance at winning (because I could earn it) and might be able help out with my family's finances at the same time.

Anyways, It was an intense project, but the results were pretty great.  I googled geometric patterns and got hooked on this chevron/herringbone pattern (just as it was gaining traction as a trend) and knew it would be killer in multicolor.  I brainstormed for a while and came up with lots of other ideas that could be accomplished with the help of Frogtape and paint.  Check out my other projects to see the things I created for the contest.  Painting is usually the most cost effective way of sprucing up most any item or space.  Almost anything that can be painted can be enhanced using Frogtape and now I'm forever hooked.
